The S-100 and S-200 are Audio Research’s latest solid-state amplifiers, featuring fully balanced dual-mono Class A/B designs with powerful linear power supplies and dual toroidal transformers. Using bipolar transistors for greater transparency and dynamics, they deliver clean, dynamic, high-performance sound. Their sleek aluminum chassis modernizes classic Audio Research styling with custom heat sinks and hidden fasteners. The S-200 also includes ARC-style power output meters inspired by the brand’s Ghost Meter aesthetic. Built, tested and critically voiced by ear in Minnesota alongside the company’s flagship tube amplifiers, the S Series combines precision engineering with musical refinement.
