The HiFi Rose RD160 Absolute True Fidelity DAC is a reference-grade digital-to-analog converter engineered to deliver uncompromising transparency, ultra-low-noise performance, and exceptional musical realism for elite two-channel audio systems. Designed around a fully balanced architecture with premium AKM conversion technology and precision clock synchronization, the RD160 represents HiFi Rose’s flagship DAC platform.

At the core of the RD160 is a sophisticated dual-mono DAC implementation utilizing dual AK4499EXEQ DAC chips paired with dual AK4191EQ modulators for highly refined digital conversion and exceptional dynamic capability. A high-precision OCXO clock system and three independently customized reference linear toroidal power supplies further enhance timing accuracy, signal purity, and low-noise operation across the entire audio path.

The RD160 also incorporates extensive digital connectivity including USB, HDMI I²S, AES/EBU, optical, coaxial RCA/BNC, and external 10MHz clock synchronization capability. Balanced and unbalanced analog outputs, adjustable pre-out level control, and precision-machined aluminum construction complete a state-of-the-art digital source component for reference-level music systems.
