The Monitor Audio Studio 89 is a premium high-performance bookshelf loudspeaker that blends the unmistakable styling of the iconic Studio Series with the latest acoustic innovations from Monitor Audio. Inspired by the bold creativity of the original Studio loudspeakers from the 1980s, the Studio 89 delivers contemporary reference-level performance through advanced driver technology, precision engineering, and distinctive aesthetics.
At its heart is a carefully engineered MTM (mid-tweeter-mid) driver array featuring Monitor Audio's latest MPD III high-frequency transducer flanked by twin 4.25-inch RDT III C-CAM bass-mid drivers. This advanced configuration produces exceptional imaging, effortless dynamics, and remarkable clarity across the entire frequency range. Whether reproducing intimate vocals or demanding musical passages, Studio 89 creates an expansive soundstage with outstanding speed, precision, and realism.
Finished in an elegant High-Gloss Black cabinet with distinctive gold-colored drive units, Studio 89 pays tribute to the legendary Studio 15 while incorporating technologies developed for Monitor Audio's flagship loudspeakers. For optimum performance, Studio 89 is designed to pair perfectly with the dedicated Studio 89 Speaker Stands, providing exceptional stability and ideal listening height.
