TEAC has been producing high quality audio components in Japan since 1953.  The LS-X20 speaker was designed to be a modular, performance speaker for use in home theater or multi-room / location applications.  The original X20 used a single paper driver but this is the remanufactured model with a 2-way, polypropylene cone, using a powerful ferrite magnet and butyl rubber surrounds, so it's weatherproofed for use outside.  Bass from the tuned and ported cabinet goes down to an impressive 60Hz.  The separate tweeter uses a PEI Neodymium magnet to provide clear, full range of audio up to 20,000 Hz.  The heavy composite cabinets are internally damped and ported for surprisingly loud and clear music and movie soundtracks.
