      Anyone looking for a premium reel to reel playback system today seeks out the services of J-Corder Luxury Audio.  We received this heavily modified unit from a client who is an avid Reel-to Reel enthusiast.  

      J-Corder started with the excellent Technics RS-1500 and performed the following service steps. 

      1. Completely disassemble the machine
      2. Replace brakes and springs
      3. Replace bearings if needed
      4. Hard-wire heavy-duty power cord
      5. Laser align all heads and check specifications
      6. Clean and lube all switches, pots and controls
      7. Posts treated with "Deoxit" rejuvenation protection for better electrical connections
      8. Reassemble and re-calibrate the machine with ATR tape

      They then applied the "Special Red Configuration' including custom gloss black side panels with chrome trim.  In addition the following is done with this package:
