DESIGN

HT/1003 MKII features REL’s latest cabinet design inspired by the proportions of the flagship Reference Series models. The lower, sleeker enclosure improves bass speed and depth while maintaining a refined modern appearance. The rigid line-grained composite cabinet minimizes resonance and unwanted vibration, while the top panel receives five coats of hand-polished piano black lacquer for a premium finish.

Available in both Black and White finishes, the compact cabinet integrates easily into modern home theater environments while delivering exceptional low-frequency output for its size category.

DRIVER

HT/1003 MKII utilizes a lightweight long-throw 10-inch CarbonGlas driver with an inverted carbon fibre centre cap and steel chassis construction. The combination of glass fibre cone materials and carbon fibre reinforcement creates a stiff, lightweight, and highly pistonic driver capable of delivering fast, accurate, and controlled bass response.

Upgraded suspension geometry and a larger motor structure allow greater excursion while maintaining composure and clarity at high output levels. The result is deep, articulate bass performance with excellent speed and transient accuracy.

AMPLIFIER

A high-current 300-watt RMS Class D amplifier powers HT/1003 MKII with clean, authoritative energy and exceptional dynamic capability. REL’s specially developed home theater filters maintain flat, controlled low-frequency response deep into the 20Hz region while preserving speed and clarity throughout demanding movie soundtracks and gaming effects.

The amplifier incorporates REL’s Fully Electronic Set Safe protection circuitry along with D.C. fault and output short protection systems to ensure long-term reliability and stable operation.

WIRELESS

HT/1003 MKII is compatible with REL’s optional HT-Air MKII wireless system, allowing ultra-fast 5.8GHz wireless LFE transmission up to 60 feet without digital compression. This provides flexible placement options while eliminating the need for long visible subwoofer cable runs throughout the room.
