Wilson Audio WITT - Obsidian Black

The WITT speaker is built with a large, heavily damped cabinet made from advanced polymer materials that reduce unwanted vibration and resonance. Internal bracing adds strength and stability. Its bass system is carefully tuned to deliver deep, accurate bass without the exaggerated mid-bass common in many speakers.

A sophisticated crossover uses premium components and extremely tight tolerances for precise timing and seamless driver integration. Every driver was chosen for its accuracy, speed, consistency, and, most importantly, its ability to reproduce music naturally and realistically.

We have had this pair in house for many years, but decided to have the cabinets professionally prefinished. We tested each of the drivers and the crossovers and all components are working within specifications.  We did remove the foam diffraction pads and the grill mounts.  We feel this speaker should be displayed and listened to free of any acoustic impediments.

While they are an early example of what Wilson Audio was capable of, the sound they produce today reflects the huge soundstage and magfical ability for a pair of speakers to dissapear in a room.

CONDITION -  Cabinet is nicer than when they came new.  Drivers are tested and in very good operational condition.  Grills are original and show some wear.

A pre-owned Wilson speaker that has been authenticated in the field by a Wilson Audio Authorized Dealer. If the Wilson loudspeaker is less than 10 years old, it is eligible for the remainder of the 5-year warranty or a 3 year warranty, whichever is greater. If the Wilson loudspeaker is more than 10 years old, the eligible warranty is 2 years.
