The Pioneer CLD-97 Elite is a high-end mid-1990s LaserDisc player prized for its Japanese build quality, low noise and excellent picture performance. It delivers one of the best images among LD players. Audio quality is also a strength of the 97 with separate power supplies for analog and digital circuits. Its premium construction includes the signature Elite wood-side panels and it features auto-flip for seamless playback.
