Music is a passion, so why not find the most passionate amplifier designer we know to satisfy our need for clean, pure power?Nelson Pass has been designing amplifiers since he started Threshold Electronics in 1974.  Over the past 40+ years, he’s developed 100’s of different amplifier designs and holds dozens of unique patents.  PASS amplifiers are so musically realistic, so involving, that once you listen to one for just a short while, the experience haunts you.  When I was about 10 years old, my Father had a good friend who was into HiFi.  His system had a beautiful Threshold amplifier driving some Spender BC3’s.  To this day I vividly remember sitting in his family room listening to achingly beautiful music in stunning realism.  Those experiences and memories are responsible for me being in this industry today - E Lang
