Audio Research LS-3 Preamplifier

Inspired by the award-winning 1992 LS3 line stage, the modern LS-3 is a fully balanced solid-state preamplifier featuring a differential JFET input stage, bipolar voltage amplification and Class-A outputs. Its dual-mono design, separate transformers and low-noise linear power supplies deliver excellent dynamics, speed and tonal richness. The LS-3 creates an expansive soundstage with impressive focus, air and musical energy. Housed in a rigid all-aluminum chassis shared with the LS-2 it combines performance with elegant Audio Research styling. A new touchscreen display offers customizable inputs, brightness, color settings and styling inspired by the brand’s Reference GhostMeters®.
