At the heart of the X5 S2 are dual custom low-noise toroidal transformers paired with high-current output devices and substantial slit-foil storage capacitance for exceptional current delivery and loudspeaker control. The upgraded ESS Sabre DAC platform supports high-resolution PCM and MQA playback, while carefully optimized circuit layout and independent power regulation stages contribute to outstanding transparency, low distortion, and dynamic realism.

The elegant industrial design incorporates a full-color front display with selectable peak meter functionality alongside comprehensive analog and digital connectivity.
