Updated power supply components and improved grounding create a cleaner, more stable foundation that lowers noise and improves overall clarity.

With approximately 10 dB lower noise than its predecessor, the HPA-1c brings out greater low-level detail and a blacker background—especially noticeable with high-sensitivity headphones. Its fully discrete Class A design provides smooth, natural sound with excellent control across both dynamic and planar magnetic headphones.

Beyond headphone use, the HPA-1c also functions as a high-performance line-level preamplifier capable of anchoring a serious speaker system. Combining refinement, versatility, and the musical character Pass Labs is known for, the HPA-1c is designed for listeners who want reference-level performance in a compact form factor.
