The Rega Planar 1 Turntable is a multi-award-winning entry-level vinyl playback system engineered to deliver exceptional analog performance with true plug-and-play simplicity. Designed to offer performance far beyond its class, the Planar 1 combines Rega’s precision engineering philosophy with highly refined tonearm, motor, and platter technologies for engaging musical reproduction.
Every aspect of the Planar 1 has been carefully optimized to improve speed stability, reduce vibration, and simplify setup. The turntable features Rega’s hand-assembled RB110 tonearm with ultra-low friction bearings and automatic bias adjustment, allowing installation and operation in under 30 seconds. A factory-fitted Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge and advanced EBLT drive belt further enhance playback accuracy and ease of use.
The Planar 1 also incorporates a 24V low-noise synchronous motor, high-mass phenolic resin platter, improved brass bearing housing, and vibration-reducing foot assembly for highly stable rotational performance.
