The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition Turntable is a highly refined special-edition vinyl playback system engineered to elevate the iconic Planar 3 platform to new levels of rigidity, speed accuracy, and analog performance. Designed using technologies derived from Rega’s higher-tier turntables, the Planar 3 RS Edition incorporates advanced plinth materials, precision motor control, and reference-grade component matching for exceptional musical realism. 

At the core of the Planar 3 RS Edition is a brand-new brushed dark aluminium High Pressure Laminate (HPL) plinth construction developed to create the stiffest Planar 3 plinth Rega has ever produced. This advanced lightweight structure is reinforced using Rega’s double brace technology to minimize resonance and energy absorption while maximizing structural rigidity and rotational stability.

The Planar 3 RS Edition also features the legendary hand-assembled RB330 precision tonearm factory fitted with the award-winning Nd5 moving magnet cartridge. A custom-matched Neo MK2 PSU is included, with each motor vibration circuit individually hand tuned to the specific motor assembly for superior speed control and low-noise performance. Combined with the CNC machined pulley, Reference EBLT drive belt, and precision float glass platter, the Planar 3 RS Edition delivers reference-level analog playback performance for demanding vinyl enthusiasts.
