Featuring a long-throw 8-inch FibreAlloy driver, REL's renowned High-Level connectivity, and a proven Class A/B amplifier design, T/5x delivers natural, room-filling bass with exceptional control and detail. Available in Piano Black or Gloss White finishes, it offers premium performance and elegant styling in equal measure.

DESIGN

T/5x features a compact acoustic-suspension cabinet engineered to maximize performance while minimizing visual presence. Gently rounded cabinet edges and carefully proportioned dimensions create the appearance of a smaller enclosure while actually increasing internal volume for improved bass performance.

The cabinet is finished in five hand-polished coats of Piano Black or Gloss White lacquer, creating a luxurious appearance that complements virtually any décor. Its down-firing driver configuration allows bass energy to disperse evenly throughout the room while eliminating the need for a visible grille.

DRIVER

At the heart of T/5x is an 8-inch long-throw FibreAlloy driver utilizing a composite cone structure of aluminum and lightweight paper with an inverted alloy center cap. This carefully engineered design delivers outstanding speed, detail retrieval, and low-frequency extension while maintaining exceptional control.

Enhanced suspension components and increased excursion capability allow the driver to deliver deeper bass and greater dynamic authority than previous generations while preserving the agility and musicality that define REL subwoofers.

AMPLIFIER

T/5x utilizes a high-current 125-watt RMS Class A/B amplifier designed for exceptional transparency, speed, and reliability. REL's dedicated High-Level, Low-Level, and .1/LFE inputs allow seamless integration into both two-channel and home theater systems without requiring changes to system settings.

The amplifier incorporates REL's proprietary input filtering, crossover networks, and protection systems to ensure natural integration with main speakers while delivering precise, controlled low-frequency performance. A dedicated .1/LFE input allows independent optimization of movie and music playback.

WIRELESS

T/5x is compatible with REL's optional Arrow wireless system, providing uncompressed wireless signal transmission without the sonic compromises associated with traditional wireless audio solutions. Designed specifically for high-performance audio applications, Arrow maintains the speed, dynamics, and musicality expected from REL systems while offering greater placement flexibility.
