While preserving the recognizable trapezoidal profile of the original Concertino, the latest generation introduces advanced materials and refined engineering to deliver greater acoustic performance and visual sophistication.

Its elegant proportions, luxurious finishes, and carefully selected natural materials embody Sonus faber's philosophy that exceptional sound and beautiful design should exist in perfect harmony.

PLANT-BASED LEATHER

Concertino G4 is the first Sonus faber loudspeaker to utilize an eco-friendly plant-based leather developed by Italian innovator Ohoskin. This sustainable material is produced using derivatives from Sicilian oranges and prickly pears, offering a luxurious alternative to traditional leather.

Applied to both the front baffle and cork structure, the material contributes to the speaker's distinctive appearance while supporting Sonus faber's commitment to environmentally conscious craftsmanship without compromising quality or performance.

CORK ENCLOSURE TECHNOLOGY

The heart of Concertino G4's innovation lies within its cork-based central chassis. Chosen for its unique acoustic properties, cork naturally absorbs and dissipates unwanted energy, reducing internal resonances and minimizing the need for additional damping materials.

This carefully engineered structure allows the drivers to perform with greater freedom and precision, creating a cleaner, more natural presentation while maintaining exceptional cabinet integrity.

SOLID WOOD CONSTRUCTION

Continuing Sonus faber's long-standing tradition of utilizing natural materials, Concertino G4 features solid walnut side panels selected for both their beauty and acoustic performance. The ribbed surface treatment enhances structural rigidity while reducing the need for internal bracing.

This combination of craftsmanship and engineering helps create a cabinet that is both visually striking and acoustically optimized.

DRIVER TECHNOLOGY

Concertino G4 utilizes a 1.1-inch DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome) Arrow Point tweeter paired with a custom 5.25-inch ferrite magnet midwoofer. The tweeter delivers smooth extension and exceptional high-frequency detail, while the paper pulp midwoofer preserves the organic tonal character that defines Sonus faber's Natural Sound philosophy.

Together, the drivers create a balanced, coherent presentation with excellent imaging, musicality, and dynamic expression.

PHASE-COHERENT CROSSOVER

The crossover network has been designed according to Sonus faber's phase-coherent philosophy, maintaining accurate phase alignment throughout the frequency range. This approach allows the drivers to integrate seamlessly while producing a more focused and three-dimensional soundstage.

The simplified crossover architecture contributes to improved transparency, natural tonal balance, and exceptional musical realism.

REAR REFLEX SYSTEM

Unlike previous generations, Concertino G4 employs a rear-mounted reflex port that reduces turbulence and improves airflow efficiency. This updated configuration allows for cleaner bass reproduction while preserving the elegant appearance of the front baffle.

The result is more controlled low-frequency performance and improved overall integration across the audible spectrum.

IRON STAND

Designed specifically for Concertino bookshelf speakers, the optional Iron Stand combines industrial strength with refined Italian craftsmanship. Constructed from an IPE 120 x 64 steel beam and finished with walnut veneer accents, the stand provides exceptional structural stability while complementing the Heritage Collection's distinctive aesthetic.

Its bold architectural appearance creates a unique visual contrast to the organic materials of the speaker itself. Variations and minor imperfections are natural characteristics of the industrial production process and contribute to the individuality and authenticity of each stand.

MAESTRO EDITION

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Concertino introduced in 1994, Sonus faber released the Concertino Maestro Limited Edition. Limited to only 300 pairs worldwide, each set features a progressive-numbered brass plaque elegantly integrated into the walnut side panel.

Inspired by the master-apprentice traditions of Renaissance artisanship, the Maestro Edition serves as a tribute to Sonus faber's heritage and commitment to handcrafted excellence.
