DESIGN

Electa Amator III is a modern interpretation of one of Sonus faber's most iconic loudspeakers. Its compact bookshelf form combines classic proportions with refined materials, creating a loudspeaker that is equally stunning visually and acoustically.

The cabinet features solid walnut construction paired with hand-applied black leather, elegant brass accents, and a luxurious marble base. Every material is selected not only for beauty but also for its contribution to resonance control and acoustic performance, preserving the unmistakable Sonus faber identity.

RAW MATERIALS

The solid walnut cabinet forms the heart of Electa Amator III, delivering the warmth and natural tonality that have long characterized the Sonus faber sound. Carefully matched wood grain patterns showcase the craftsmanship and attention to detail invested in every pair.

The wood structure is elegantly combined with marble and brass accents through precision-machined metal interfaces that enhance both structural integrity and visual sophistication. Hand-applied leather wraps the front baffle and rear panel, completing the speaker's luxurious presentation.

SOLID FOUNDATIONS

Marble plays a critical role in both the visual identity and acoustic performance of Electa Amator III. The natural stone elements provide mass and stability while complementing the warmth of the walnut cabinet.

Dedicated stand systems utilize anodized aluminum columns filled with damping material and mounted to marble bases, creating a stable platform that minimizes unwanted resonance while enhancing overall system performance.

D.A.D.™ TECHNOLOGY

High frequencies are reproduced by Sonus faber's H28 XTR-04 DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter. This advanced design combines the musicality of a silk dome with the extension characteristics of a ring radiator, delivering exceptional transparency and naturalness.

By controlling anti-phase behavior at the apex of the diaphragm through localized damping, DAD™ technology minimizes resonances and improves high-frequency extension, resulting in greater clarity, smoother response, and enhanced realism.

DRIVER TECHNOLOGY

The custom-developed 180mm MW18 XTR-04 midwoofer features Sonus faber's classic cellulose pulp cone construction. Continuing the company's commitment to organic materials, the driver delivers exceptional tonal balance, natural timbre, and dynamic capability.

Together with the DAD™ tweeter, the system produces a seamless and coherent presentation characterized by rich harmonic detail, realistic vocal reproduction, and outstanding musical engagement.

CARRARA STAND

Designed specifically for Electa Amator III, the optional Carrara Stand combines aluminum, brass, Carrara marble, and steel spikes into a structure that reflects Sonus faber's dedication to Italian craftsmanship.

Its carefully engineered construction provides exceptional stability and resonance control while visually complementing the Heritage Collection. Stands and speakers are sold separately.
