DESIGN

Following the distinctive Olympica Nova design language, the cabinet features Sonus faber’s iconic asymmetrical lute shape with gracefully flowing curves inspired by natural forms. This organic structure enhances both visual elegance and acoustic performance.

TWEETER

The 28mm H28 XTR3 High Definition D.A.D.™ (Damped Apex Dome) tweeter utilizes a Neodymium “cup design” motor system to deliver extended high-frequency response, exceptional detail retrieval, and remarkable transparency.

By controlling unwanted diaphragm behavior at the apex of the dome, Sonus faber’s D.A.D. technology improves clarity, smoothness, and realism throughout the upper frequency range.

MIDWOOFER

The 150mm MW15 XTR2-04 midwoofer features a lightweight yet rigid cone structure with Copper Clad Aluminum Winding (CCAW) voice coils and an eddy-current-free motor design.

A fabric-coated dust cap creates an airtight seal that optimizes air movement and bass performance, while the extended-throw motor system improves driver excursion and overall low-frequency authority.

PASSIVE RADIATOR

A dedicated 150mm passive radiator fine-tunes the speaker’s low-frequency performance, enhancing bass extension and overall tonal balance without increasing cabinet size.
