The Vertere Tempo Precision Motor Drive is an advanced microprocessor-controlled motor controller engineered to elevate the performance of Vertere record player systems through highly accurate motor management, ultra-low distortion operation, and exceptionally stable rotational control. Derived from technologies developed for Vertere’s flagship reference motor drive platforms, the Tempo advances beyond the SG motor drive design to deliver even greater refinement and precision.
Designed to provide exceptionally clean and controlled power delivery to the motor system, the Tempo incorporates sophisticated digital control architecture, advanced shielding technologies, and carefully selected premium-grade components throughout the signal and power path. The result is highly stable platter rotation with reduced noise, minimized distortion, and enhanced musical realism during vinyl playback.
ADVANCED POWER MANAGEMENT
The Tempo Precision Motor Drive utilizes four fully regulated voltage rails dedicated to independently powering different sections of the internal circuitry. Combined with carefully selected premium components and gold plated PCB construction, the system delivers exceptionally clean, stable, and controlled power to the record player motor assembly.
MICROPROCESSOR & DAC CONTROL
At the heart of the Tempo is a sophisticated programmable microprocessor architecture working in conjunction with a dedicated DAC stage to generate highly accurate analogue sine and cosine waveforms required for precise synchronous motor operation. This advanced control system enables stable low-distortion motor drive performance with exceptional speed consistency.
TRIPLE SHIELDED CIRCUITRY
The Tempo employs extensive shielding throughout its internal circuitry to minimize interference and preserve signal integrity. The entire digital, microprocessor, and DAC section is first shielded using copper foil before the complete PCB assembly receives secondary shielding via a stainless steel shield plate for maximum electrical isolation and noise suppression.
PRECISION SPEED CONTROL
A high-quality mode and speed selector switch provides intuitive operation while allowing programming of three selectable modes for the white power indicator LED. Electronic switching between 33rpm and 45rpm playback speeds ensures convenient operation with highly accurate motor control performance.
MOTOR LINK CONNECTION SYSTEM
Motor output is delivered through a high-quality gold plated 6-way locking connector system connecting the Tempo to the record player via a dedicated motor link assembly. Internally, the system utilizes dual Pulse-R drive cables together with a D-Fi LED power cable to maintain signal integrity and stable motor operation.
