DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY

• Reference Cabinet Construction: Alexx V utilizes Wilson Audio's proprietary X-Material throughout every enclosure while strategically nesting V-Material within the woofer cabinet, gantry cross-brace, and Acoustic Diodes to dramatically improve vibration control, enclosure damping, and upper module isolation.
• Open Architecture Gantry: Derived from the WAMM Master Chronosonic and Chronosonic XVX, the rigid open gantry increases structural integrity while reducing pressure behind the upper modules. Integrated illumination simplifies setup and precise time alignment.
• Convergent Synergy Carbon (CSC) Tweeter: Manufactured entirely in-house using an advanced carbon fiber rear-wave chamber, the CSC tweeter delivers exceptional high-frequency extension, remarkable linearity, superior harmonic detail, and outstanding ambient retrieval.
• Dual Midrange System: Alexx V employs both 7-inch and 5.75-inch dedicated midrange drivers. The flagship 7-inch AlNiCo QuadraMag driver, originally developed for the Chronosonic XVX, provides extraordinary warmth, realism, texture, and seamless integration throughout the critical vocal range.
• Advanced Woofer System: Custom 10.5-inch and 12.5-inch woofers combine exceptional authority with speed and articulation. The innovative XLF port system allows front or rear firing configurations for optimal integration within a wide variety of listening environments.
• Handcrafted Point-to-Point Crossover: Wilson Audio refined the crossover topology while reducing the number of components in the signal path. Combined with proprietary AudioCapX-WA capacitors, the result is improved impedance characteristics, higher sensitivity, and exceptional low-level resolution.
• Wilson Audio Acoustic Diodes: Included with every Alexx V, the Acoustic Diode system combines proprietary V-Material with austenitic stainless steel to dramatically reduce vibration while maximizing transient clarity, dynamic expression, and overall musical realism.
