Pioneer SX-1050 AM/FM Stereo Receiver - Beautiful Classic - Serviced

There is a reason these Pioneer SX receivers are so highly desirable.  From Pioneers highly sensitive FM front end, a high selectivity IF section, to the low distortion FET power amplifiers that deliver a monster continuous power output at 120 watts per channel min/ (@8 ohms).  It's rare to find any gear today under $10K that's built quite as nice as these receivers.  They stand out with  with real solid metal controls and oversized capacitors and components.  Even the phono input is excellent.  These were designed to be the heart of a great audio system.   It's warm, lush sound signature with powerful bass will put a smile on your face every time.

Other important contributions to great sound include Pioneers separate tone controls, the massive custom-core transformer and the two large capacitors in the power supply section.

This is a beautiful unit from a local collector.  We had our service tech run through the whole thing and clean all controls, check all lamps, be sure all caps and components are in spec and verify it to be working 100%.  Cosmetically this unit is in surprisingly good condition.  The real wood is beautiful.
