Designed for the largest listening rooms, reference-grade stereo systems, and high-performance home theaters, 212 Black Label offers over 450 square inches of piston area and performance that approaches the authority of a full REL Line Array. Whether used individually or as part of a larger system, it delivers breathtaking dynamics, effortless low-frequency extension, and room-filling bass with remarkable control.

DESIGN

212 Black Label features one of the most comprehensive cabinet redesigns in the REL lineup. A distinctive vertical strake runs the full height of the cabinet, complemented by a Black Label crown badge and a carbon fiber-trimmed top-panel emblem. Warm silver bead-blasted handles provide both visual elegance and practical functionality, while substantial internal billet aluminum bracing enhances rigidity and reduces unwanted resonance.

The tall, commanding cabinet design allows exceptional driver integration and acoustic performance while maintaining a refined appearance suitable for the finest listening environments. An optional Premium Wood Grille is available for those seeking an even more luxurious aesthetic.

DRIVER

At the heart of 212 Black Label are dual 12-inch CarbonAlloy active drivers featuring lightweight carbon-fiber center caps that improve speed, efficiency, and dynamic response. These newly developed drivers release more energy with every stroke while maintaining exceptional control and composure even during the most demanding passages.

Supporting the active drivers are two fully redesigned 12-inch passive radiators. One radiator fires downward to extend deep bass performance, while the rear-firing radiator enhances height, depth, and spaciousness throughout the listening environment. Both radiators utilize cast aluminum baskets and are engineered to accommodate the extreme excursion required by the upgraded amplifier system, delivering approximately 40% greater output than previous generations.

AMPLIFIER

Powering 212 Black Label is a newly developed 1,000-watt hybrid amplifier that combines the current delivery and authority of large Class A/B monoblocks with the efficiency and speed of a Linear Class D output stage. Capable of sustaining peaks exceeding 1,200 watts, the amplifier delivers explosive dynamics, tremendous headroom, and effortless control without strain.

REL's renowned 100% analog filter architecture remains central to the design. The legendary High-Level input allows seamless integration with two-channel systems, while RCA and XLR low-level inputs ensure compatibility with modern home theater installations. REL's ability to simultaneously utilize High-Level and .1/LFE inputs allows optimal performance for both music and movies without compromise.

WIRELESS

212 Black Label is compatible with REL's optional AirShip Direct wireless system. AirShip Direct transmits both High-Level and .1/LFE signals simultaneously while preserving dynamics, transparency, speed, and tonal accuracy, providing true high-end wireless performance without compression.
