When the Sabrina was released it immediately became a favorite small floor-standing loudspeaker. It was awarded speaker of the year in Stereophile magazine and sounded larger then it should. The the Sasha DAW arrived. In a long line of Wilson’s legacy of WATT/Puppies the DAW set a new standard of what was possible in terms of accuracy and dynamics in a loudspeaker. So when it came time to update Sabrina, much of the DAW founds it was into its smaller cabinet.
The entire cabinet is now X material. The spiked diodes and binding posts are taken directly from the DAW and XVX. Even the DAWs 8″ woofer has found a new home in the X. Where it exceeds the DAW is with the brand new Wilson AudioCapX in the crossovers, giving it a significantly lower noise floor, more detail and resolution. But most surprisingly the X uses the latest Convergent Synergy MK5 tweeter using the WAMM Chronosonic!
